  If you'd like to be waiting for your tax information the 2nd week of April, come here! They are awesome at being late and not responding in a timely manner. If you'd like to get your taxes done on time, go elsewhere.

  Save yourself the hassle. First, I have had First Source prepare my taxes for 4 years. In fairness, I found Tim and Janet are very knowledgeable, however they are terribly disorganized and as a business have zero customer service skills. After expressing concern that I was paying $300 to have a student assistant prepare and review my taxes with me, I explained to Tim, the owner, that this was unacceptable. He disagreed and wanted to argue instead of come up with a solution that worked for both parties. Instead, they wasted their time preparing my tax return and I told them forget it. After jumping through hoops for the last time with these guys and paying above average prices for a CPA, I fired them today (1 day before tax day!). If I'm going to pay a rate above the average rate for a CPA, I at least expect to get treated decent. I can get someone more qualified than a student assistant at H&R block for $100.
